I recognize that a lot of people really enjoyed this film. But it's basically a tale of unrequited love... without climax or resolution. Rather pointless, the entire theme revolves around falling in love, being to shy / cowardly to admit it, and moving on to an (evidently) unfulfilling life. What's to enjoy about this?
The animation is okay, but the story line becomes rather tiring. The characters aren't well-developed. Their deep inner drives aren't explored. Their futures are left in the realm of mundane. It's not even slice of life since it covers teens through young adult... and no one achieves what they really want. Personally, it left me feeling rather bleh and down. No matter the quality of the anime, the depressing storyline is bound to leave some feeling... depressed.

What is it that makes some people think they can make a movie? This flick has all the mentality of a 5th grade phone flick... but the phone flicks are often better. Seriously bad sets, bad acting, bad directing, bad story... zero redeeming factors. Probably most reviewers here could actually make a better movie using a cell phone.
This movie has no actual plot, no explanation for WHY regarding anything, no motives, no rationale. It's just goofy with an extra layer of goofy added on.
Some folks have mentioned "pretty good sets". What sets? There were no "sets". This was filmed in a junk yard, then switched to what appears to be an old abandoned play house. The "sets" here evidently consisted of finding an area with a whole bunch of junk strewn around and making what they could on a half-a-shoestring budget.
I give it 2 stars because it's not Asylum bad... but it comes pretty close. That anyone would give this 10 stars is indication that some people can't tell watching a good movie from sitting on a cactus (or are cast / staff members desperately trying to boost a loser of a flick). Really, believe the 1 & 2 star reviews and save your limited viewing time for something with an actual plot.

This is almost so bad it's good... but it's too bad to make that rating. This is 1-star Asylum-level bad... some of the worst sci fi I've ever seen anywhere. It tries to be funny, but isn't. The acting, directing and writing are all competing with one another for bottom of the barrel position. I wish I could say it has some redeeming factors, but well, it doesn't. I managed to sit through two episodes, and that was two episodes too many.
How a grown adult can produce such schlock and actually think it's good... oh wait, SNL does the same thing now. I really hope this isn't a trend.
