28 Years Later is a lackluster addition to the zombie genre, delivering a mixed bag that fails to live up to its predecessors. Clocking in as a sequel to the iconic 28 Days Later, it offers a few heart-pounding thrills but ultimately feels average. The story unfolds in a visually striking post-apocalyptic Britain, where the desolate landscapes and eerie urban ruins stand out as the film's strongest asset, creating an atmosphere that's hauntingly beautiful. However, the story falls flat, lacking the emotional depth or narrative ingenuity of earlier zombie classics. Zombie kills are uninspired, with gore that feels routine rather than shocking or creative. Performances are serviceable, but the subpar script gives actors little to shine. Compared to genre benchmarks like Dawn of the Dead or even the original 28 Days Later, this feels like a rehash we've seen before-done better elsewhere. Fans may find fleeting moments of excitement, but overall, 28 Years Later stumbles where it should sprint. 5/5 for location, 3/10 for thrills and story. Save it for a rainy streaming day.
Started watching Hanuman in OTT after hearing lot of rave reviews online. This being a sleeper hit, had raised lot of expectations in the anticipation of seeing something new. However overall disappointed with the way this entire movie has been hyped.
CGI effects were average to good but what was the biggest disappointment was absence of solid story line which merely became a usual good vs bad super hero movie which you would have watched 1000 times. Performances were over the top and entire action sequences are just forgettable.
Even the main villain lacked the evil character.
Production value however was good and background music was loud.
This movie will be highly appreciated by kids as it's a clean family movie. So if you want to enjoy this one with your family, lower your expectations as this will be appreciated by your kids and by sr citizens . However dont expect too much from the story.

There are some great mystery & thriller movies coming up from malyalam industry I'm last few years , and started watching this movie in similar anticipation of a good thriller, but what a letdown this movie was. Easily passable despite having some good actors. This movie has many flaws , but biggest was disjointed screenplay and editing. The backstory was only saving grace but that also was concluded without proper justification. Movie fails to deliver in other department as well. Overall , this movie is below average and even such good actors could not save lackluster story and screenplay. Only watch if you have lot of spare time and money.
