Action, medium light nothing to fancy or exciting
story, weak mindless entertainment that had more potential.
script, decent
acting, fine
like most netflix stuff everything is simplified to keep the budget down. simple entertainment, this quality of film gets boring fast.
I liked the few songs they used.
not bad and not good
I saw this film at off 2011 (Okanagan film fest) in Kelowna B.C Kevin came and played before the film which was a real treat, it was very cool how the whole thing was presented. As a Documentary, Kevin is very well put together, the right questions are asked and answered, Kevin's story is interesting and inspiring to watch. As a lover of unknown musicians I really appreciated the filmmakers dedication to the music of Kevin Gant.
The music Kevin played is really something, He blends some styles of guitar playing that you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere. I bought and love the CD and strongly recommend that music lovers check out this film.

I had the pleasure of viewing this film earlier today. I am screening films for next summers Okanagan International Film Festival, this was on of the entries we have received thus far. It is a graphic film. Sex Violence and crack smoking well acted. Nice script, genuine dialogue. Good story well executed. I give it a 9.5 and will definitely be recommending it to play at our fest.
I love getting to screen short films, and the good ones like this are why. I just wish these things would make it to DVD in compilations or something, its to bad so much work goes into something so few get to see.
