The police actions depicted in "American Nightmare" are beyond reprehensible. To turn a blind eye to a victim's pleas, to actively discredit their story, and to sensationalize their trauma in the media is a monstrous betrayal of public trust. It leaves a stain not just on that specific department, but on the entire justice system.

To all the victims who have ever been doubted, dismissed, or worse, by the very people who swore to protect them, we owe a profound apology. You deserved to be heard, believed, and supported. This documentary serves as a stark reminder of the immense work that needs to be done to ensure true safety and justice for all.

Not the best movie, not the best plot, but for a strange reason this movie keeps lingering in my memory like an old lover. The music is superb, Ennio Morricone at his best.

If I had to guess I would say that Mully is happier than all the billionaires in the world combined. My toes started curling when God's name was brought up again and again (I am an atheist), but I am glad I got to finish this inspirational documentary.
