I found this German documentary series to be a really enlightening and mostly fair take on the Evangelical Church. It dives deep into the church's history, cultural impact, and role in society, with a level of detail that I genuinely appreciated. The research behind it feels solid, and the way it's presented kept me hooked, offering a thoughtful mix of past events and modern-day insights that's easy to follow and gets you thinking.

That said, I did notice that the series leans a bit too heavily on Donald Trump at times. I get that politics play a role, but I wish they had dialled that back somewhat, as he is-and was-not the only world leader affiliated with an evangelical denomination.

All in all, it's a well-made and fascinating series that I'd definitely recommend to anyone curious about the Evangelical Church's influence. A slightly tighter focus would make it even better, but it's still a great watch.

Her presence seems out of place, and if the intent was to present her as a metaphor for the youth of that era or as an example of how Anna Wintour and Vogue influenced her life, the execution falls short. Kardashian's superficial comments detract from the overall narrative.

Another point worth mentioning is the portrayal of Anna Wintour as solely responsible for setting and destroying fashion trends, such as the dismissal of grunge fashion. While her influence is undeniable, this depiction feels somewhat exaggerated.

That said, if viewed as a chronological display of pivotal fashion moments from the 1990s, the series is enjoyable and insightful for those interested in this iconic period of fashion history.
