It does kind of take me out of it once in a while when I see the average age of the actors playing the high school students is obviously mid 20s even late 20s, I don't know why they do this.
But this is a funny show, actually very funny. The coach is hilarious, the main character guy is hilarious and I've always always been a big fan of Enrico Colantoni who plays the principal. Enrico was fantastic in Galaxy Quest.
FX is well known for having cutting edge shows including sitcoms like reservation dogs and better things and others of course like what we do in the shadows etc.
This is a must see if you like comedy.

Almost every other writer/star of their own movie picks a younger woman to play his wife but Ray Romano picks one of the very best actors alive on earth, Laurie Metcalf, to play his wife in this really good movie "Somewhere In Queens" playing now on Hulu.
One of those movies were you start to watch it and before you know it it's over and you didn't really want to give it that much of your time because it's just another movie but that goddamn Ray Romano just knows what he's doing, doesn't he!
Suffice to say Ray's performance is very good as is the rest of the cast. But there is nobody like Laurie Metcalf.

Saw two movies this weekend, "Once Upon A a Time in Hollywood" and "Sword of Trust" and Sword was the better of the two.
Outstanding performances all around including and especially Marc Maron and as the not so sure of himself bad guy Dan Bakkedahl who we usually see playing the funny part.
Want to see it again
