I didn't have much expectations from this film, however it turned out to be really good. The story connects very well, especially with people who have some connection with the Indian Air Force. The action sequences are very nicely shot. The visuals of the aircraft zooming in the sky are really breathtaking. I could also connect to the emotions in the movie. The film does have some melodramatic scenes but they are not that bad. The runtime of 2h 5m is also perfect and at no place did I feel that the film lagged.
The only thing I didn't like was how the film portrayed Maha Vir Chakra recipient, Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devaiah a proud Kodava from Karnataka, as a Tamilan. They changed his name to T K Krishnan Vijaya (also a Tamil name) instead of a Kodava name. Also Sara Ali Khan who plays his wife in the film, is shown as a typical Tamilan with horizontal bottu on her forehead and mallige flowers on her head.
It's a shame that Bollywood still considers anybody from the south as Madrasis. This is the only thing which I didn't like in the film and made me very angry. There are several people from Kodagu in the armed forces and the film fails to recognise the Kodava community.
Overall this was a good emotional watch. Truly a perfect patriotic film for the 76th Republic Day celebrations of India.

I am a politically neutral person and I'm not rating this based on the controversy created by the jobless RW propaganda creators. This tv show is actually boring and overhyped. Right from the beginning of the 1at episode I felt that it lacked the factor to capture the viewer's interest. The screenplay is slow paired with the poor direction. The dialogues are also very dull and I couldn't feel any thrill while watching the episode. Instead of wasting my time I think I'm better off skipping the remaining episodes. A better and more engaging screenplay would have made it a good watch. However it's boring and not worth watching.
Right from the very first episode, I couldn't connect with the story and I felt there were several unfilled gaps which made the storyline alvery artificial and stagnant. I somehow made it through till the 3rd episode, but after that I just couldn't take it. The screenplay is very slow and the performances by most of the actors is not convincing enough. The language slang used in the tv series is also really annoying. The police inspector's part is the most irritating character. There should have been more thrills along with a more tighter screenplay. Overall I felt this tv series as overhyped and boring.
