After "friends" was rerun TO DEATH, I really got sick of seeing Jennifer Aniston. No matter what she did, it all came out "Rachel". There's only so much of a twit that I can stand.
THIS performance, however, is a whole other level. She worked really hard on this character and it paid off. The woman was REAL.
Most actors that portray pain, are cliché and make you uncomfortable if the pretension goes on too long.
This actor portrayed it like we all feel it, not the way the "media" relates it in commercials, war movies, etc. and not the way your boss expects you to act when you take a sick day.
I hope she won't revert to the sappy girly movies again because this performance demonstrates that she's capable of so much more.
This makes me want to see her in some Shakespeare.
Give the girl an Oscar.

I couldn't watch more than a minute at a time. I skimmed through it, stopping at 9-10 different spots, BUT THEY ALL LOOKED THE SAME right to the end.
The characters were in the same Fellini-esque attire all the way through.
All the Actors, but for one woman, feigned facial expressions over and over and over. (I forgot the word for that, but young, bad actors do it a lot)
The camera work was almost as bad as the acting.
The director, the actors, the camera man, the costume designer, the set designer, WOULD BE BETTER AT SELLING HOT-DOGS FROM A CART ON A NYC CORNER...
...MAYBE.
