I loved Time Tunnel, I loved this. Let's talk about characters, stereotypical. Let's talk about story, predictable. Let's talk about baddies, they're everywhere, and who's side is everyone on, really on, or just pretending. Let's talk about technology, well, they don't, after all time travel is magical, so best to leave the science in the library.
The thing at issue here is why oh why this particular combination of mediocrity is so good. It has everything, based on nothing. I lap up the episodes like a child.
Search this one out, I found out on Tubi of all places. Watch, learn, love and above all, try to find the paperweights.

These terrible hick farm types and the harm they cause. This is a story about systematic systems failure, in a world run by men more interested in their macho cred than safety, with plenty of appeals to the mysteries of God's plans.
Folks... it's rubbish. Watch something else. I was recommended this sorry saga by IMDB, and I'll be questioning these in the future.
The real story is how broken and morally bankrupt the US system of farm poverty and the ease with which people die from stupidity.
Now to the movie, the shallow predictable characters that must pass for some weird notion of depth, just because they can't help but shout at each other.

Unlikable characters, slow meaningless plot, red herrings that only go to demonstrate the desperation of the writter. There is no spoiler here as I hope to God you don't even start with this slice of UK TV cop/crime cringe. It really doesn't matter who did it because by end, if you are dumb enough to watch it YOU WON'T CARE EITHER.
They spend the entire first episode building the unlikable cast. Interestingly, nothing we learn is of any use later, which embeds the sense that the writer knows nothing about the basics of good story telling. Which brings us to the ending, forget episode 2 and 3. The failure of episode 4 is a common failure with crime dramas that make no sense and then pull it all out of thin air in the last 5 minutes.
Like I said, waste of time.
