  • Painfully mediocre

This is your run-of-the-mill, B-grade action movie that offers nothing original to see. Generically stoic heroe, with your kickass swearing woman and the half-drunk ally with an accent. It's been done and has been done before. It's all just functional; the action is functional, the camera is functional, the acting is functional, but it's all just so painfully mediocre.

I know this movie was made on kickstarter, I know it was lower budget, and I will say for a movie on this budget it doesn't seem like a movie with a smaller amount of money put into it. Sets look like they genuinely belong in a movie or TV series, so I'm happy with what we got on a production design level. I'm okay with lower budget films, but even for a proof of concept, it's really amateur. The cast is really generic and bland, but I would never call it the worst thing ever. It's just painfully boring.

I have seen iterations of Rogue Elements a hundred times before, I will continue to see another iteration of Rogue Elements in the future: it offers nothing that I haven't seen before, and even does things worse than 'generic action movie #634,' but I'd say it's not the worst thing I've seen this year: far, far from it.

  • Excellent!

This was so good I had to watch it a second time straight after the first. Heavy Metal Haley makes her phenomenal debut as a filmmaker co-directing with Jenn Stone to make an excellent Jason Vorhees fan film NEON FEAR co produced by Abel Berry (Dr Gift, Chick Chick Boom) First GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE INVOLVED from the creators to the cast and crew you all did a great job.

It was a very fast grind house style film. ALOT of awesome visuals the soundtrack was right up my alley cool deaths I'll get into the film itself after a few more watches Was it worth my time and work?...........YES!! 150% HELL YES!!!!
