Koreans are really good at doing revenge dramas. The Glory is a fantastic example but this one is very good too. The story of Seo Dongju a man with a fantastic visual memory navigates the dangerous tides of a chaebol family (conglomerate) while trying to save the woman he loves.
This intertwine with bad guys trying to eliminate him as he has in his memory the password for a secret fund worth 2 trillion Won.
The intrigue goes vertical, from the notion of society all the way to the Blue House (The Presidency).
Park Hyun Chik dazzles in this drama. I usually swoon over him when he's doing romance but here, he proves he can do a different genre with gusto.
Really worth watching.

Such a long wait for this. And a big disappointment in the end. The story line is boring despite the whole space station situation, the characters not particularly likeable and the chemistry between the two leads is as cold as winter. Lee Min Ho had a lot of pressure for his return to Kdrama and has been the subject of the ire of netizens in Korea because of his under performance in this series. I wish he'll find a better project next time.
Each episode is a drag and I had to drop the drama after episode 8 (good effort, it's half way). There are much better dramas at the moment so don't dwell here.

Why wait such a long time to make the same film all over again? Or at least attempt to surpass the original ? It's exactly the same story!
Yes the visuals are beautiful, yes the game scenes are amazing particularly the one on water but that's about it.
Paul Mescal is so robotic in his role and show absolutely no emotion whatsoever during the whole movie. He's said to be full of rage. I am still looking for it. When the character finally meets his mum after 15 years there is no emotion; nothing. It's like they've never left each other.
The real show stealer is Denzel Washington. He's all evil and rings and he's a joy to see as usual.
So a disappointment overall despite the stunning visuals.
