I was watching this when it came out. was only a kid. and made so many memories with friends over this show and the game that came with it, having most of the dvds myself i have seen some in recent years and am surprised by some of the dark story lines and grittiness it represents. i enjoyed the dark stories and though of it in a mature sense. without a doubt the best version on TMNT from seasons 1-5 are my favourites. will probably watch them soon again

Well written, well acted. with great scenes and action sequences it is hard to not like this series, as a guy whom has read many many comics over the years it certainly lifts them up as the show brings something towards the comics. a great performance done by Jon as The Punisher. since i have seen him in other TV shows/movies i knew he could play the role well.

we explore what makes the Punisher and what he is made of in this series. we see his back grounds and we see his perspectives as the show continues. the chemistry between characters is done well especially with Karen. All in all a great series and is right up there in the front lines with Daredevil and i look forward to the next season for sure

i could not wait from seeing the trailers. but since seeing it i think that there is room for improvement, i think the acting is mostly good with a few exceptions. the main flaw was probably the story line, although the story had some good ideas i felt that some parts were missing.

can not put my finger on it. but i felt that there was something missing in the plot and there could have been so much more, but with that being said i am still glad i have seen it and would consider this a decent TV series altogether.

And though many many reviews are quite harsh i hope that the writers can take whatever constructive criticism they can and can build a better season if there is any chance of a season 2 of the Defenders.
