  • About Johnny...

After making few films in the US...Johnny went back to South Korea and got a spot as a host on his, "the Johnny Yune Show" for couple of years (1989, KBS). Like Johnny Carson and David Letterman, he became one of the greatest late night hosts in Korea. His resume from the states proved he was an excellent comedian and a great host for a late night show. After few years, he did various shows but they weren't that successful, but the last thing I know is that he started hosting another show called "the Johnny Yune Night Show" on i-TV in Korea (2003). That's pretty much all I know, but I think he is a great host and a comedian. I wish he still stayed in the states and did more movies and maybe get a spot on the late night shows? I know Johnny Carson was great, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien (he is my favorite) and Jimmy Kimmel are doing very well right now. However, I wish Johnny Yune stayed in the states little bit longer because most Korean people know who he is but people in North America, in this generation doesn't know much about him...
