I tried, but this movie is incredibly boring. I don't watch many movies and I think thirty minutes is more than enough time to capture my attention. This did not do it.
I had no idea what was going on and the two lead characters were weird. Daniel Kaluuya comes across as mentally challenged, and Keke Palmer talks like a child and is extremely annoying. She needs to tone it down a notch and speak normally.
The movie had potential but like I said, thirty minutes in, and it was going nowhere. This is supposed to be a horror movie, but the only horror I see is that this movie was even made!
I give it one star.

How in the world does this crap rate a 7.7 on this site? And where are all the 10.0 ratings coming from? The cast?
Come on people; get real. This is on par with Sharknado on SyFy! If you can make it past the second episode you are doing well.
I like the idea of snow falling in summer and people freaking out. But I have also wondered why film makers struggle to film snow scenes. It doesn't snow when the sun is out. The sky should be overcast and dark, not bright and sunny? I guess if you have a tight budget you have to take whatever weather you get (if you are filming outside).
The actors do an okay job; they just didn't have anything to work with.

An okay watch if nothing else is on, but be warned. It's very long. Lots of gun play as well, so maybe turn the volume down a bit.
It starts off interestingly enough but the longer it goes the more boring it gets. You know how it's going to end; you just want to hurry up and get to it.
Butler's character is a jerk. Very unappealing. I found myself actually hoping it doesn't end well for him! I find this to be typical whenever he plays a cop. He's much better as a normal guy.
The last heist is very slow and drawn out; so much so that I struggled to stay awake. Again, just hurry up and get it over with.
Again, ok if nothing else is on. I give it a 4.
A 7 is way too high.
