Greetings from Lithuania.
Second episode of "Alien : Earth" titled Mr. October managed to combine many things into a whole, tightly paced 53 minutes run time. No spoilers, but it has kills, thrills, baseball, great and touching bonding scene - and Alien. I loved how in first and second episodes so far we see Alien in its glorious form - done in practical effects and no (mostly CGI). Alien does look very menacing and stunning - its all done in animatronics in thing, definitely not CGI. Therefore there is a tension. This episode leans more heavily into close corridors type of action i did miss since first and second Alien films.
Overall, so far "Alien : Earth" delivered goods. Some might be slightly turned off due to style of show, which was created by "Fargo" creator - and it shows here. But for me this is an exciting new chapter in Alien franchise that i can not wait to see more.

"Alien: Earth" was my most anticipated show of 2025. I do not watch TV series mostly in general due to time restrictions, but couldn't resist to watch a first series even within my favorite franchise ever - "Alien". I'm a massive fan of the universe - own majority of the films on 4K disks, played "Isolation" many times and etc. - "Aliens" is my favorite film of all time. So i was all in for "Alien: Earth".
The first episode called "Neverland" was everything i hoped for a new Alien stuff, from creators of brilliant if sometimes uneven series "Fargo". I highly enjoyed this episode. No spoilers - but will say that it is set in a new location for the franchise - Earth. I really enjoyed the set up, the not by a book characters, script that is clearly was written not by AI. It is different from what we have seen in "Aliens" before, thanks to a fresh perspective that creator brought here. And yet the opening scene left me breathless with how they recreated opening of first film.
Overall, first episode was a breath of fresh air considering long running Alien franchise, yet it felt somehow familiar - and in the best way possible. Great opening of hopefully great series.

"WALL·E" (2008) is a great animated movie. Because its theme is so good, its story is so great and animation is so ingenues, it is safe to call this movie a true masterpiece. I've see this film many times during years, and i highly enjoyed it every single time. It is ingenues picture that was very risky one back in the day - it literally features no human for the majority of the movies first half, and only speaking parts are made by robots in a very robotic way. It is inspiring movie as well, and just a great science fiction story. The whole opening long sequence featuring WALL·E doin g his daily routine stuff in nothing short of a thing of beauty. And the music is perfectly done here.
Overall, "WALL·E" is that one rare Pixar's masterpiece that is more enjoyable for grown ups then to the youngest ones. It has wonderful ideas and realizes them perfectly. This is one of the all time best animated movies.
