  • Good moments, but depressing.

I loved the chemistry between the two stars, and the acting was awesome, but this movie was depressing to me.

  • My new favorite movie!

I loved everything about this movie. It was funny, heart warming, dramatic, and just a really good movie that I can watch over and over again. I think Ben Stiller needs to direct more movies. The heart behind this film is something I would love to see more of.

  • Black Panther is THE movie to see!

This film has amazed me in so many ways that I had to go and watch it twice. I am planning to watch it again and again because it is just that powerful. It carries a bold and important message not just to African Americans, but I believe for the world. Some have their negative opinions of this film, but I believe it is the very thing I needed to see to appreciate my black heritage on a whole new level. I truly thank the entire cast. They did a phenomenal job! I can go on and on...just go see it already!

  • I Absolutely Loved It!!

I went into this movie with high expectations and was not at all disappointed! I loved it because it was so much more than a start to finish action packed thriller filled with explosions. It was a film, with a story that moved gracefully from scene to scene. Not to mention, the setting was breathtaking. Sure there was some slight CGI hiccups here and there and the villain could have acted some parts better, but the movie was so enjoyable that those things didn't matter to me at all. I was blown away by it and now consider Black Panther my favorite Marvel film!

  • This movie is awesome!

I finally had the opportunity to see the War Room and as I sat there with a good friend of mine, I was filled with a desire to pray as soon as I got home. This movie was real, romantic, funny, heartfelt and powerful. I didn't even want to leave the theater to get a refill of popcorn. I didn't want to budge. I was glued to my seat. Every actor and actress played their part excellently. The flow of the film wasn't too slow or to fast, it was just right. And the ending was perfect. I look forward to more movies like this being made that reaches the entire family and stays with you long after the credits roll! Good job cast and crew! Priscilla Shirer...she was AWESOME!!!! I hope more movie opportunities come her way! And amazing job Karen Abercrombie and T.C. Stallings!

  • LOVED IT! Can't get this story off my mind.

This movie from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. Very here and now. Very real. Gugu and Nate Parker gives an exceptional performance in their roles. Even though I come from a very different life than Noni, I could relate to her feelings of not being seen or heard. I found myself feeling sorry for Noni, but wanting her so desperately to rise above all of it and find her own voice and embrace herself. I so appreciate how Gugu caused me as the viewer to feel every scene as if I am right there. I hope she continues to make great films. She was amazing in "Belle" and she surely did not disappoint in this one. Great job cast, writers, directors and producers of this film! I definitely plan to add this one to my video library when it comes out on DVD.

  • Loved This Movie

My husband and I watched this movie last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. As someone that's beginning to be a fan of low budget films, I love this move. I love the story and how it relates to so many people trying to make it in the world but sometimes learn to focus on what really matters in life, relationships. We should "enjoy the summer, because winters' coming soon enough" as quoted in the movie by the beautiful Ruby Dee. Although the story does have some dull moments and I feel the soundtrack wasn't the greatest, the story was what held my attention. Loved the close ups and movement of the camera. My husband fell asleep during some parts but enjoyed the story. Lots of heart, meaning, and depth. Loved it and can watch it again and again.
