From the cover I've seen: "intense, hot, sexy", that exactly what is missing in this movie under discussion. The story is not unique. The acting is not that good.
The story in one line: "A professional killer falls in love, and of course that is the problem".
The film was not boring, in fact, I think, it is not a waste of time. However, an intense thriller?: you easily can take a new drink from elsewhere, without missing the storyline; a sexy thriller?: you didn't find much uncovered body-works, during the sexy scenes; and hot?: I could not find this; seeing it a second time?: I don't think so.

In this road-movie "Black Cadillac" two cars are driving under snow conditions during the night.
I gave this movie a 'little' six out of ten, I heart the sound of broken glass after a collision between the two cars, however, later on I saw the taillights of the Saab still intact and also the front lights of the Cadillac were found to be in good condition in the sequence of this movie. The maintenance of the Saab was for the engine cooling system. Or is it the intention that the repairs are of the same category as the Chevrolet in John Carpenter's "Christine"?
Anyway the film "Black Cadillac" is fit for one and a half hour entertaining.

I cannot remember seeing this movie from television in the past, but now on DVD, not digitally remastered, only in Dutch language, no subtitles, for "The Burglar"(De Inbreker). It is nice to see Amsterdam in the late sixties and early seventies.
The story and acting is acceptable. A professional burglar is requested to find a missing girl, with all consequences of course. However I most liked the impressions from Amsterdam, without a parking problem, the people, and the fashion impressions from half a century ago. Anyway it is not the real live for the majority of the Dutch people.
This movie is obviously not promoted in the foreign countries, since the only comments are from the Netherlands, and only a few votes for a movie from 1972
