I really wanted this to be a great series and the first episodes promised a lot of.. then it appears a new set of writers were brought in for each season who didn't know anything about what had happened before. Lots of things left unexplained, the actions of the characters suddenly changes and they do things that make no sense. The story drags and drags and teases and what look like big plot points fizzle out. One of the most frustrating programs I've watched and it jumps all over eh place with no clear path.
Good effort but I'd rather watch the The Last Jedi! And that says a lot!

I don't think Aram could be written as anymore of a doormat in this! How they can write him still defending Keen when she's just acting like a petulant unlikeable child now. I'm not sure if it was the writers intention but the only person I'm invested in is Reddington and I'd guess that's because James Spader is such a fantastic actor. The FBI agents are just wet and hopeless and if I worked for the FBI I'd be so insulted. I'm amazed they aren't wearing nappies! The writers must really hate the FBI! .... And then there's the bad guy working with Keen who is just a joke! He's so unhinged and unpredictable someone would have bumped him off immediately because he invites so much attention to a criminal organisation ... Ressler I like when, again, he's not written like a complete doormat for Keen it's totally unbelievable behaviour! I can't wait to see how this improves to justify two more series! It needs to do it fast.
