Being a devoted rocky fanboy since I was a teenager now watching this film again almost 30 years later it is without a doubt the g.o.a.t boxing movie ever made not to mention the beginning of a legacy of sequels that tells the story of a bum amateur boxers life having nothing to lose in achieving greatness and giving everything you got to achieve it.
It is a slow burn compared to the sequels but it brilliantly tells the story of Rocky written by Sylvester Stallone.
This movie officially considered in my books a timeless cult classic and in the same league as The Terminator, Rambo, Aliens etc.

So I am re watching creed 2 after already seeing the entire creed series in the past and I can now easily say that part 2 is the best in the series. Why? Because it's the only one that really carries on with the story line of the original rocky series. So if your familiar with rocky fighting against Ivan Drago then this movie is the perfect compliment and continuation to that movie. The other reason why I believe this is the best in the series is because Sylvester Stallone still had input and was part of the creation process of this movie part 3 Sylvester Stallone had nothing to do with it hence why I think it falls short compared to part 2. Don't get me wrong all the creed movies are pretty good but part 2 excels in many ways and is the stand out.
To my understanding and what I know Stallone is pretty much handing over the torch to b Jordan to continue the legacy of rocky franchise hopefully he does him proud.
The only way that I think the actual rocky franchise can continue not the creed story but the actual rocky Balboa story would be for his estranged son or family member to become a fighter to continue that legacy.
Let's see what happens from here.....

The one thing I like about Paul Fenech is that is he one dedicated ethnic Aussie that embraces the Aussie culture to its inner core.
From the beginning of his comedy career with early work on Fat Pizza that solidified him as the Aussie Lebo in the early 2000's till now still making and sticking to what he loves doing which is playing a larikin bogan Aussie character.
In this latest project of Pauly Fenech he goes back to doing stand up comedy unlike any other stand up comedy act you will see. He travels the Australian outback pub hoping with a pair of strippers and a body guard who is played by former Mr Universe Lee Priest.
The series is crude, politically incorrect, funny, sexy and everything in-between take it with a grain of salt it's suppose to take the piss but it is well written, well directed and a good watch.
