  • It might be a film about cars, but it's so much more if you think about it.

I'm getting pretty fed up with people saying that this movie is for "car lovers only" because it's simply not true. This movie is for many people, collectors, Eric Bana fans, people who have a passion and want to see other people's passions etc.

It's a movie about racing and cars, about Eric Bana's car that has been a part of his life for a very long time, that right there is so beautiful to see. Eric Bana's relationship to his car is amazing, you would have to see it to believe it. And people who don't understand the love for cars will truly get a different opinion after seeing this film because it will grow on you, you will see how much something made out of tin parts (and then some) can become such passion and such love because of how long it will stick with you.

And to Eric Bana fans, if you love Eric Bana like I have, you HAVE TO see this movie. To me, Eric Bana is very much like his car is to him, I've grown up with Eric Bana and his movies and seen him grow as an actor, it feels as if he's my friend as with a couple of different actors. And if you really almost feel like he's family, you will have the same feelings as he does for his cars when you see how heartbreaking some scenes in this movie are. You will also see Eric Bana before a big movie premiere of his movie "Lucky You", it's a very rare glimpse into his life and how he feels before going to a premiere, it's quite cool and you'll see how awesome and down to earth he truly seems.

But do keep in mind that this is a documentary, it is mostly for car lovers, true, but it can still grow on you, because let's face it, it's not all just cars.

  • Keep your eyes on director Ryan Jafri!

I was contacted by director Ryan Jafri because of his interest in my blog and he asked me if I could watch and review his short film. I'm always honored and I feel very happy that people would want my opinions on their films. I started this blog just for fun, to see people's reactions etc. Now on to the film. It's very well shot and the actors are good as well, although could have been better, as with most films in my opinion. When I see a lot of films some questions always comes to mind, "What if someone else played that role?", "Would another actor do it better or screw it all up completely?". When it starts out I was a little confused what it was about although the whole thing will be explained in the film, I love these kind of films where you are left with only a few clues but it all evens out perfectly during the end of the movie, this is one of those movie shorts. It's very original and the score is great, probably the best of the movie because it creates the whole tension perfectly. However I have to give a lot of praise to Jafri because he's not only the director but he wrote this and produced it as well. Hell, for a first timer this movie is amazing, far better than I expected! These are the kind of projects my acting side of me would love to do, all new, brilliant ORIGINAL ideas. Also, this short is a two time award winning short, so it's worth checking out for sure, because this way, you know it's good for sure! The thing I love the most is the poster! So great and looks like a real movie that could open up at any big cinema anywhere. All together a great, entertaining film! The ending is quite surprising, but in a good way, lifts the whole movie up to the sky! This director will make it big for sure, keep your eyes on him! The only negative thing I have to say is that it could have, SHOULD HAVE been longer as it seemed a little rushed to me. 8/10 For more information on this great short, go to: http://www.jafripictures.com/

  • No expectations before the movie - Came out very satisfied and happy

I went on a free advanced screening of this movie. I didn't have any expectations, much because of the "Disney" written on the poster. Now, I'm not saying that Disney movies are bad, it's just that live action movies (or non-animated) usually, well... suck

But this one... as I watched it, magic went on, through my eyes and in my head. This movie is the reason why movies were created in the first place, to entertain. And with amazing music, I was impressed how catchy the tones were.

Also, Amy Adams was completely amazing, I fell in love! She's definitely one of my favorite actresses now! Patrick Dempsey was great too and his daughter in the movie, one word = WOW! This is her second movie and she was fantastic! Can't forget James Marsden, he was great and his comedic timing is great too. And the animals were so adorable too. This movie is pure entertainment, I really recommend it.

One of the best movies of the year AND probably the best "fairy tale movie" I've ever seen.

I also want to cheer this movie because of its originality. With bright heads in Hollywood at the time there are very many remakes and only a few movies that are able to impress.

Go see it if you haven't already! 10/10
