Kudos to the producers for making this fun, touching, witty, intelligent film that touches on expat life in Budapest, Hungary. I watched it with my teenage kids (who loved it) whom, I suspect, is the real target audience. Lot's of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll (or whatever they call it these days).
Still, I was surprised and pleased that the movie deals with themes interesting to those of us pushing 50. The story deals, in part, with the healing of old, still-tender wounds between a son who haven't spoke to one another in over 20 years. A real treat for me was the performance of the mother whose character so convincingly made me think of my own grandmother, I could swear she was the basis of the character.
On the negative, the camera moved a bit much for me, but then I'm an old fogy.
I recommend it highly!
