I was lucky enough to catch this flick in Budapest. It's playing city-wide. Steven and Robert Lovy, credited as "the Lovy Brothers," couldn't have had millions of dollars to produce this gem, but they certainly made up for that by creating a perky, emotional film with a handsome and kinetic visual style. It's now definitely one of my favorite movies. A very cool mix of drama, comedy and super fresh music all set in the sexy locale of night-life Budapest.
I'd say it's a cross between Scorsese's "After Hours," "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and a music video set to a Hungarian folk music/drum and bass mix. I know it sounds unusual, but so is this movie.
Definitely worth checking out when it gets to the States. I even bought the soundtrack.
