This is why movies are made. Just pure completely insane, unrealistic fun. I want Lift 2, 3 and ... 7...
Great cast, crazy wild heist with multiple twists in all directions. Intense well made special effects and action sequences. A fun range of odd characters, nasty villains and cruel government officials. Beautiful shots and landscapes. Luxury high-tech that probably does not or could not exist in real life. Non stop high speed just for the hell of it.
Is this the best movie ever made? Of course not. Is it the best heist movie ever made? No, it is not. BUT, non of that matters, because it is made with that light weight glint in the eye, tongue in cheek way that you just buckle up for the ride and go along with it. It is entertainment folks, it is not supposed to be artistic or realistic, its not supposed to be deep and dark. It exists only for the best of reasons, to give you 2h of uncomplicated joy. And THAT, it most certainly did.

Willow is a great show, with all the fun and spirit from the original movie and much more and further beyond.
The cast, both the new and the returning, are amazing and fun and fully dedicated, and the characters they portray are all fun, interesting and unique in their own different ways.
The scenery is gorgeous and the action and FX is superb, but best of all is the humor and twinkle in the eye that the original movie had at its essence is also in the new TV show.
I also love what they did with the end credits of each show, both music and art.
I truly hope we get to see a volume 2 and 3 of this saga. It truly deserves it.

I did not expect anything really, and I knew very little of this movie before started watching, but I was only a few minutes into it when I found myself well hooked by the great performance's of the leading actors. And as I get drawn deeper and deeper into the unfolding of the story and the characters, I got truly submerged in an amazing telling about some amazing human beings and their life struggles and achievements.
When it works well, I love theatrical works like this, where the dialogue and the convincing delivery of said dialogue carries the story to its fullest, without a slew of subplots, sub characters and a vast range of sceneries. And this story works very well, indeed.
The actors and the director did a great job with this script and I can truly recommend it for its theatrical values alone, but on top of that you have a story that moves and a message that needs to be told, over and over again, still today, maybe more today than ever.
A great movie experience and a great human experience.
