I like movies because they represent a beautiful world. Everything is beautiful even sadness and darkness. Cinema is also creation, creation of a world who do not exist, where we can for a hour or two or 1 minute shut up the noise. I see and feel all the emotions of a human been in 2 hours. Cinema is unique, cheap for the experience and emotions it gives.

  • Master of Martial Arts

Some people on some sites mistakenly call this picture "Dragon Island". Yes, the meaning may be appropriate, since the action takes place on an island full of bloody fights. But if we translate literally the original name of the film and ponder more deeply, then "The Dragon's Exit" is a kind of hero of the beloved and inimitable Bruce Lee. And the dragon in this case is not the one to whom the island belongs, but of course - Lee.

This picture was for me the first in a series of viewed films about the popularizer kung-fu and just an amazing person. For a long time, I did not attach much importance and attention to the personality of Bruce Lee and his films, nevertheless I considered myself a connoisseur of cinema and a fan of Chinese culture. Thanks to my good friend who advised me to watch the film "Bodyguards and Killers" with Donnie Yen, I fell in love with a series of biographical films about Ip Man. For some time, Donnie En was even an ideal martial artist for me, of course, until I met Bruce Lee. I continue to respect Donny's talent, but Bruce is just superior.

Speaking of the movie. Not long ago, I watched Paul W. Anderson's Mortal Kombat. And while watching the Dragon Exit, the feeling of "deja vu" never left me. It's a shame only that I did the opposite, first I had to watch the original, and only then the sequel. Sorry for the cruelty, miserable sequel. As in any other case in the cinema, the original turned out to be much better, even surprised and interested. What got me hooked? Not the plot, unfortunately, but it is interesting in its own way. Interested in the game and behavior during the fights of Bruce Lee. He is spontaneous, independent, confident, firm and wise. Perhaps this is an echo of fame, because during the shooting, it was his huge. Nevertheless, Li Xiao Lun even beautifully "Star Disease". There is a star in the forehead, we will not hide the obvious.

Not to mention the fact that this is to deep sadness, was the last picture with the participation of a man of genius. The master left the world six days before its premiere. I think it was a worthy end and the last word, both in his life and in his career.

  • Major League 2: Back to basics

This sequel raises a rather urgent problem. We are talking about sports "satiety," professional stagnation, and even a banal change of reference points in the career of our heroes. "Savage" Vaughn instead of his acclaimed "bitnichesky" lifestyle, we see an elegant young man in a black business suit, who, under the influence of his agent, gradually loses himself to the present and is no longer devoted to his business with the same zeal. Quick and easy, Hayes (unfortunately, not performed by Wesley's old days, Omar Epps replaced him here) is more concerned with his film career than with jerks on the field. Yes, and veteran Jack Taylor over the years, not younger, and already somewhere in the thoughts of a well-deserved "sports retirement." And how to unite a scattered team, in which everyone is for himself, and puts his own interests higher than the interests of the collective? Yes exactly. It's time to remember how it all began. It's time to go back to basics ...

Incredibly talented director David S. Ward, wisely made the decision not to repeat the main plot of his predecessor in the sequel, but took the path of development in some other plane. I also liked that in the second part they were leading colorful characters in the first place, this applies to the incredibly cheerful and charismatic Japanese Tanaki (Takaaki Ishibashi). Fortunately, the biggest success was the preservation of the main composition of the main characters (as I mentioned, instead of Sanypes, Hayes tried on the role of Epps, by the way he didn't spoil the porridge). The only exception is, I did not quite understand the character Rub Becker (Eric Brasskoter). Personally for me, his hero, except for a slight irritation, caused nothing more.

Despite the fact that Ward tried to make some significant adjustments to the plot, there was still some repetition with the prequel. Several times, I caught myself thinking that this idea had already been beaten in the first picture. There is also the formation of a love line, but in the second film the emphasis is not on the hero Tom Berenger, but on Charlie Sheen.

So, the picture "Major League 2" is a qualitative continuation of the first picture, with a good plot and a good acting game.

  • Crazy comedy

Like many other early comedies of Claude Zidi, this one advantage is peculiar - not caring about any integrity of the plot, not being afraid of critics and snobs, Zidi just takes a bunch of gags and combines them into one full-length film. Comic reprises played by the popular comic quartet "Charlot" exist by themselves, only slightly connected by one, sports theme. Quartet "Charlot" (Charlot - as the French called Charlie Chaplin) - purely buffoon actors, their humor is absolutely physiological, the comedy "slaps" - falling, changing clothes, fighting, breaking and destroying everything at hand.

Each member of the quartet in itself does not represent anything, but when they get together, there is no limit to the jokes and jokes! I think the success of the film depended on them to a great extent, although Claude Zidi contributed his own part - he just brings many situations to absurdity. Such absurdity, coupled with simplicity conquer the viewer.

If you are fans of stunt, gig comedies, then "Crazy at the Stadium" is a movie for you. Moreover, the role of the windy seducer in the film is the beauty Martin Kelly - a girl with a perfect figure, a pretty nose. huge eyes and a charming, disarming smile. In this film, it is simply impossible not to fall in love!
