Lizzie McGuire was fun to watch, at first. It came out when I was in 6th grade and I loved it. Mainly because it was fun, but now I see that it's actually really 'mary-sue' like. It's just like every other kids' show out there, with the exception of maybe higher ground and a few others. It follows Lizzie, Miranda and David "Gordo" through their middle school years.
My biggest complaint is that MS is nothing like this. Lizzie fights with her friends almost every episode (shallow). Almost every episode is about trying to get into the popular group. My sister is going into MS next year and she thinks that her school will be like this. I won't even mention that very few schools are designed like that, but whatever.
Anyway, I give this a 2.5/5. It's boring, but okay to watch late at night.
BTW, they SO could have found a better actress than Hilary. She over-states all her lines, moves stiffly, and uses the same facial expressions. Disney doesn't get an award for casting all that much, but considering this blunder launched hte Hilary Duff Mania of 2003 (it's dying down, Thank God), this deserves a mentioning. AND WHO SAYS WORDS LIKE 'COOLIE'?!

At best, this is a decent movie. I checked it out simply because Cole and Dylan were on the cover and I liked "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause" and "Big Daddy". In this movie, though, they were fed unbelievable lines and the acting sounded forced. Some of it sounded laughable. I actually LAUGHED when Cole went "Oh, Dyl!" to get him to shut up.
Not to mention,it was so predictable! It was known from the first few moments that Dylan and Cole's team would win. The greasy grimy guy (rudy) was obviously George Patrick Owens.
Was there humor? Yes...Some of it not acceptable for the age group (I've never heard an eight or nine-year-old say p***ed and use it correctly, let alone convincingly).

I picked this movie up from Best Buy about a month ago because it was only six dollars. I could tell from just the case itself that it was an indie film.
Although I wouldn't say I regret getting it, I can totally understand what it's a third of what most DVDs are these days.
"Scooter Kidz" is about a group of three foster brothers (two biological) and the new scooter craze. When the oldest brother gets a scooter for his birthday instead of a motorized dirt bike (before of money problems), he's a little disapointed and doesn't make any moves to try it out; that is until his younger brother is taken away from the home and placed in a rich couple's home, because it was three kids to a room at the foster home. In order to raise money, Donny has just a week to perfect his scooter skills for an upcoming competition.
The acting is, being nicely put here, pretty bad. They're all B-list actors/actresses, except for the foster parents. They force their lines and over-expressionize (is that a word?!), but all in all, if you're a kid, you'll probably find the movie entertaining. If you're a high-schooler, like me, you'll probably find some points a little laughable. If the actors would be replaced with kids with better skills, this might make the B+ range, because even with a supporting cast of Haley Joel Osment and other rising child stars, the script can't be risen to "Titanic" standards. After all, it IS a movie about scooter tricks.
