Gosh, Hysterical! Great characters! Reminded so much of Waking Ned Devine! Just quirky and deliciously funny you forget it's a mystery. I'm a big mystery book lover and the only Graham Norton I knew was the talk show host but he writes mysteries. What a surprise!! A slew of characters that don't match what you think they would be. Ths is how you make multiculural actors work! Not preachy, just simply fun! Would recommend to anyone that loved Waking Ned Devine. Love great British character actor. A must watch if this is your style of humor. It could teach American film-makers how to do it right!

It took me 5 episode to figure out who Mrs. Clam was. I couldn't believe it! She usually does more elegant parts. Bravo for pulling a fast one. Sister Boniface is brilliant in the role. The whole cast is just brilliant and always leaves a smile on my face. The characters are all unique and a character unto themselves. Love British mysteries and this one is sheer delight. I can't wait for season 2 and hopefully, more to come. Love the retro style and shows the UK as it was back them. One series to not miss if you're looking for something funny and delightful. Hight recommended. Love all the cast members!

Why she doesn't give the Drug Unit what she has is beyond me. She has evidence! She is just insufferable. Never seen her in American shows but then I don't watch any American shows even though I live in the U. S. U. K. actors are a skilled tradition not splashing their personal lives everywhere. And everything her is rated MA. Just watch U. K. channels like Britbox and Acorn and MHZ the European channel. Oh, I watch the Discovery channel. Great deal for great documentaries like true crime, paranormal, UFO's, Ancient Civilization.

Don't watch Discovery for the Home & Garden stuff or reality t.v. (vomit!) Thank goodness for them!

Oh, and the daughter is a horrible witch!
