This movie brought absolutely nothing new to the table. Ninety percent of the movie was in the cockpit of a small plane. There was a lot of bickering back and forth , some small talk , and a couple of fight scenes and very predictable escapes. There was no character development and truthfully all of the characters were unlikable. There was no real flow to the movie , seemed to stall at certain points and honestly I couldn't wait for it to be over. I'm guessing the movie was about an hour and forty minutes , but it actually seemed so much longer. When you get done watching this movie , when walking out of the movie theater , you are going to totally forget about this movie. Me and my wife could not really think about talking about any part of the movie. Forgettable and Uninspiring.
If you're going in , you're expecting this to be as good as the first two Diehard movies , you are going to be disappointed. No where near as good as them.
It kind of dragged, periods in the movie where nothing happened , was somewhat all over the place , drawn out, and to a point " down right boring ". This was a two hour movie that seemed like a three hour movie.
They tried too hard to make it seem like Diehard but it did not work.
Jason Bateman put in an honest , good performance and you can appreciate that he was there for more than a paycheck.
All in all it was a yawner, and the action scenes were non realistic.
