  • True Love conquers over all!

This movie is one of the best Hindi movies i have ever watched. Aishwarya Rai as Nandini was simply wonderful, Salman Khan as Samir added a little comedy in the film. The story is a romance and drama. Samir(Salman Khan) is an indo-Italian student who comes to learn to sing from Nandini's father(Vikram Gokhale)and stays a year there. In the process Nandini and Samir fall in love, but she is arranged to be married to Vanraj(Ajay Devgan). Nandini sees Samir behind her father's back. Her father finds this out and Samir is sent away. Nandini Marys Vanraj. One day she receives letters from Samir and Vanraj sees them and becomes angry. But since Vanraj loves Nandini....he takes her to Italy to find Samir. What happens next in the story....it is up to you to find out! The movie was wonderful, the locations were beautiful, the songs were the best! The acting was great!!! overall i give this movie a 9/10!

  • A very touching story!

I just watched this movie today. It was very touching story. It is the story of the main characters Di and Luo who fall in love. The things that are so touching is that Di was so in love w/Luo that she would go by the school and listen to him teach, She would cook her best dishes in hope of that he would eat it, She went out in the cold blizzard to go look for him in the city, she even looked and looked for the clip he had given her *Sigh* "How ROMANTIC!" Now this story starts out when Di is all old,Luo has died, and their son has heard the news of his death. Throughout the story...the son was the narrator and he tells of his parents love story. This story is so sad it made me cry. i think the movie industries should make more stories that are beautiful and about the important things in life. Like remembering someone you love who has died. i would give this movie a 9/10. now for the Pros: because it was such a nice story. It has meaning that will impact others lives. Zhang Ziyi fitted the role of di quite well. Nice job there director. The background songs in this film fitted the mood of the movie. The casting was great. now for the Cons: I think the director should have developed the love story between Di and Luo. The summary shouldn't be misleading. I was reading the back of the movie case and it specifically said "As Yusheng enlists the men needed to fulfill her(his mother's)wishes, the story of his parents love affair unfolds. In the days of arranged marriages,he learns theirs was the first based on love." I expected in the movie that since the people in the village knew of Di and luo's love that they would arrange their marriage. I was sitting there throughout the movie waiting for Di's mother and Luo's parent(s) to arrange their marriage, but it never happened. Oh well maybe i misunderstood the summary.

this movie was a really nice movie! rani did an awesome job playing Pooja. She was basically the star in this movie. this movie has similarities to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Tina portrays Tina, Rahul portrays Raj,and Anjali portrays Pooja and Aman Mehra portrays Rohan. The only difference is that rani comes back and plays the character that closely resembles Anjali's character from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai(she was Tina in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai),instead of Shahrukh khan we have Hrithik Roshan, and instead of Rani playing tina in MDK...Kareena plays her. The song Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is in the medly, one of the songs in the movie. The thing i dont understand is why Raj didnt fall in love w/Pooja at first. She was the one who always loved him.
