This only got 1 star for the animation. I love the mix of it plus realistic shots.
BUT, thats where it ends.
I honestly wanted to punch holes in dry wall (and I'm female) while watching this. The elderly couple were painful to watch - how can two people be so completely naïve and idiotic at their age? Are two grown adults stupid enough to think the mailman would still be running after an atomic bomb??? That water would still be running or the tv would work?
The wife literally only cared about the damn curtains and making tea. The husband thought paper bags would save them.
Honestly, the characters made it hard to sit through. I kept thinking "just die already"... and I hate to say that. I had zero sympathy and didn't feel one bit bad for them. I finally got sick of screaming at the tv and just turned it off.
If you want a realistic movie - just watch Threads. Its 1000x better.
