The premise of this film is great. Two fantastic actors in Patrick McGoohan and Michael Ironside keep this film grounded amongst the mental powers and dated computer gobbledygook threads which is just as well because Stephen Lack is dire. His acting is as bad as I've seen in any top line film. Lack by name Lack by nature! It had the effect of taking me out of the picture which isn't great when trying to remember the protagonists characters and work out who is working for who.
Apart from that the story is fun and the effects are amongst the best I've seen in a movie of this age . Michael Ironside is at his villainous best with iconic scenes that have now become pop culture.
All in all a good film that could have been great.

My nephew introduced me to this film about 10 or so years ago telling me it was "my kind of film" .
I can imagine some people being quite upset at this comment having seen the film, but not me! This sums up my twisted sense of humour perfectly and I couldn't be more proud of my nephew !
Irreverent, crude, stupid, graphic and incomprehensible but how I laughed! I had to stop the film a few times to get my breath back and stop the pain in my chest - but it was well worth it.
Since the first time I saw it I have introduced a few friends to this film with mixed results LOL - however I would recommend this to anyone who likes programmes such as Family Guy etc.
Unappreciated genius !
