Imagine if Groundhog Day never got to the point. Stuck in the part where Bill Murray's day is repeating but he doesn't know why. Forever. Over and over. I accidentally skipped an entire season and never even noticed. Still I was wondering if I had already seen each new episode as it played. I think they wrote a 20 page script and used it everyday of filming. After a couple of seasons of waiting for something (anything) to happen beyond sweaty people giving each other pained looks, I gave up.
P.S. Growing up a friend in high school made a film using students as actors. Those students must've given acting lessons to this cast.
As a huge Austen fan I was excited to see this. Unfortunately it disappointed within the first 15 minutes. The main character supposedly knows the book and Bennets as if they were family yet behaves in a manner that one would expect from the person who learned of the Bennets from Cliffs Notes. There is no relationship or character development. She just pinballs from one chapter to the next.
