A movie released in 2007 & still feels fresh ,relevant and utterly entertaining in 2024 .. that's the beauty of this baby from the magician in presenting love and emotions onscreen.. A really twisty story with a well written script is aided by awesomely beautiful and spontaneous chemistry between the leads which makes the journey such a fantastic one .. Kareena as geet is definitely the life of the movie . But we forget his important shahid's Aditya is the latter through his restrained act acts a perfect foil to the boisterous, chirpy kareena . And together they light up the screen so charmingly. I also liked the role by saumya as geet's sister and Pawanji as her father's brother .

Music has always been a strong fort of Imtiaz Ali . Here too pritam gives us both foot tapping and soulful melodies . Especially lovable and my favourite " tumse hi" & "aaoge tum" by Mohit and shaan's rendition..

A truly enjoyable ride , one that can always be boarded even after many years ..

Hi , I m pretty sure you wil be going to fall in love with the Louisa clarke n the movie too if you have ever loved !!

I mam compelled to write this review after a long long time . And Emilia Clarke 's sweet , chirpy look and cute act will just make you swoon for her .. She is the lifeline of this movie which in irony is about euthanasia. She herself is filled of so much life , kindness n love .. As she herself says" I do not hate anyone" . Even the lead character will sums it up by uttering " You are the pretty much everything that makes me wake up every morning" .

Be it her creepy dresses or weird hairstyle making her look a school kid sometimes. Or her walk with a bend in her waist .. she just is so much into the character as possibly no one could be! .

Initially she gets pissed off by will for consistently ignoring her any requests for assistance but soon she starts trying to live for her ,infact placing " Me b4 you" .. Watching her shave his face or just sit on his wheelchair and having a witty dialog with him is indeed a pleasure to behold .. Or when she is unable to come to terms with his unwavering urge to go about signing for euthanasia, she is just a sight to behold. Her expressions, eyes , eyebrows, everything just conveys so much to one as an audience!!.

A truly Oscar worthy performance ..

Yes , the movie is indeed predictable but ain't love is !.

I can bet one would be both feeling overjoyed and emotional as the young lady reads the letter out in the climax and just wish each one of us who had been in true love , gets his/her love in both physical and spiritual form !

As pointed out by her character, true love doesn't need to have based upon having physical relationship.. it is much more than this , it's the spiritual emotional connect between two people.. Sam claffin handsomely supports her in a good role .. good heavy voice must say . .. A really really lovely movie and I have thoroughly enjoyed binge watching it both to uplift my mood and remember my days of love ..

Hi, didn't expect this to be so pleasing to grow eyes n taste buds. Though i have left non veg a long back but still I could correlate with the taste n presentation. Its an interesting plot made soothing by its short length n some good acts .

Mandvi is a good actor . Saw him in *music & lyrics" previously. N m in see if jess weixler , such dreamy eyes n that lovely smile . Mind u , not just a pretty face , she acts well too.

Naseeruddin shah is a god's gift . Apart from his negative views on many issues , he is the real "tadka" of th e movie. You feel it picking up pace after his entry.

Both the father n mother are good in n their small roles .

Movie could have been better if paced aptly . Has many good moments . Low budget shows too . Screenplay could have been stronger!

But it's still watchable . A feel good movie n one that can both taste n watch 😋
