Scott Haze's performance as Lester Ballad is remarkable, but this film is simply depressing--unless that is, your idea of entertainment is spending 100 minutes watching a man of limited intelligence spiral into insanity after his farm is sold out from under him.
I thought my neighbour was a slightly mad, uncouth and antisocial individual, and he sounds a lot like Ballard, so maybe he's a distant relative.

Not sure where they pulled the cast from in this awful, low budget timewaster but they have the acting ability of inexperienced amateurs--I'm not ashamed to say that I've seen better acting in porn movies from the guy who came to fix the pipes/fridge/pool etc.--MUCH better.
This is a bit of a shame, because the premise (in the bear future we can clearly see ghosts, and they're aware of us too) isn't actually all that dumb. Unfortunately, non existent production values , inane dialog and the aforementioned woeful acting make this one of the worst things on Amazon--on anywhere for that matter.

Off World (Or Dark Space - it really doesn't matter what this rubbish is called) is a C-movie inspired by the likes of Predator, Aliens, Lost in Space and a host of other watchable sci-fi movies. Unfortunately a nonsensical script, terrible acting, bad cinematography, poor editing and budget-bin CGI make this almost unwatchable - it's SO bad it doesn't even fall into the "so bad it's unintentionally funny" category. The best part? It's only 90 minutes long.
