Another stunt from Elon Musk and publicity for his business and egomania persona. Repeat it with me: techno feudal lords are not going to save the world.
About this really unique thing we've got in Andalusia, and specially Seville, that relates religion, the imagery of the Holy Week and queerness. Also a tale about resistance and rebellion against certain social norms. Really inspiring individuals are interviewed telling their experience and stories around this event.
This is a great portray of how the big art market work. Here we have a bunch of crooks, merchants, billionaires, Russian oligarchs, petrodollars, "void", big museum directors... doing their best to be ridiculous around this piece of art they are desperate for it to be original so they become rich as fast as they can. Art and culture are the least important of it all. Money makes the world go round... All about money and greed in this cruel society.
I loved the show, highly enjoyable and entertaining. Great acting and screenplay. I just have a complaint about it: it's color grading. This warm color filter I bet done in post production. It really fakey and feels like you have night shift mode enabled on your screen.
Don't even read the reviews of boomer British royalists who haven't even seen this show. Hilarious.
A really dull film, with an inexpressive botoxed Sandra Bullock. Entertaining though. Not worth watching.
I really liked this film, with all these shallow carachters speaking empty words. The greediness and emptiness of the modern art market. It's all there. And at the same time it's quite an effective satirical comedy, horror film and thriller. All those at the same time. Also the actors are great, specially Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo and Toni Collette.
Today I saw this film at Lesgaicinemad, LGBTQI film festival in Madrid, Spain. Really powerful and emotional. It follows the very personal stories of Dutch individuals who are not comfortable with standard gender "binarism". Brave people who are not afraid to tell us their feelings or open their hearts to us as we follow them on their daily lives. Specifically 5 extraordinary examples of them. Transgender or queer, it doesn't matter, we just feel what they feel as society are harsh on them as they don't comply to mainstream heteronormative standards. A must-see documentary film made for empathetic human beings.
