Have to admit I'm a sucker for something like this. With recent years lacking quality thinking from film makers it's lovely seeing something written, acted and scripted by adults for adults. However word of warning don't go into this messing around on phone or tired... You have to concentrate like inception or you will come out scratching your head.

Nicely shot, nice soundtrack and great performances all round make for a great little film. But like when Wind River came out... It's going to stay with you for a while. Anyone giving low scores it's because they're unable to understand and don't like thinking through a film... It's a lovely slow burner that works fantastically well. Recommended big time.

It oically just when I'm becoming to be fed up with the same style of Christmas films over the last 10 years this popped up on Prime... And so glad the missus said watch it. Lovely message and sentiment to this one and whoever doesn't "get it" I think it says more about them than the film. If you want traditional old school (be thinking George C Scott and Scrooge style of filming) then I think you'll enjoy this, it's certainly put me in the Christmas spirit. Good performances in the main although why Subo is in this is beyond me... She doesn't spoil but detracts a little although no doubt she can sing.

All the main people though out in sturdy performances throughout and this is better than you think it will be with good locational shots as well. Bar a bit of dodgy editing outside the church with lady Camden spot on and this for me now will and always be on my Xmas list.

Just watched this for a 3rd time and it's just great... sinple premise no political messages just good old fashioned music, action and great performances... the bus scene is an all time classic and the ending is just perfection with you'll never walk alone... great cast... it's taken all the best bits of other films but somehow keeps its own identity... which is something nowadays.

Can't wait for the sequel and just hoping they keep a similar theme and don't go down the stupid john wick 4 route... keep the nobody identity to itself and don't try and be anything else. Great editing as well. Fingers crossed the sequel can match this one!
