This was the worst movie that has every been created. The opening scene was boring and seemed to continue forever. The music was shocking there was no story line, who were they? Where were they going? What was "the thing" they were searching for? Nothing was explained What was the point????? The conversations in the film were pointless and irrelevant and I don't know how anyone could have found this film remotely interesting. Film quality was very amateurish and out of focus. We had to play the movie in fast forward hoping something would happen, but no nothing did. It looked like it was on pause when it was in fact in fast forward!. Watching this movie was a waste of my life and I am sorry I ever laid eyes on this pathetic trash!!! What the hell was Matt Damon thinking..how can he make perhaps one of the greatest films ever in Good Will Hunting and then lower himself to such a level as this! the most forgettable movie ever made

Unfortunately this film is on the 'lost classic' list! i must say the acting isn't the best but what could you expect from such a low budget! Hopper and Madsen are great to watch together, being two of my favourite actors. It has quite a weird feel about it but flows quite well..except i didn't really understand the scene with the man watching through the hole in the fence, quite irrelevant i thought..none the less i enjoyed the story and its worth watching just to see the great ending..not all is what it seems! If you like either or both of these actors then i suggest you give it a go..even if everyone else in the film is virtually unknown! Just always remember some films are worth watching just for a great twist at the end!! Enjoy, i certainly did!
