This is an awesome movie/mini-series... it is very true to the book (by Jane Austin). Mr. Darcy is handsome and wonderful (colin firth does an excellent job). i also love the characters of Elizabeth and Mr. Bingley... and the mother is just horrid... you love to hate her. Of all the adaptations i have seen of the novel, this is by far the best. The character's are portrayed perfectly in this movie i think. even my mother, who really doesn't like romances, loves this movie. excellent, superb, marvelous, beautiful, awesome... this is a must see for all lovers of romances, classics, colin firth, etc. It IS really long, but so worth it. We sit down to watch one 'episode' and end up watching the whole thing in one sitting. Also, i LOVE that it has nothing crude in it. No foul or crude jokes or language. Nothing you would really have to worry about younger children seeing or hearing. The worst thing is a scandal involving a younger Bennett sister with an older man (who is a pig). :) But even that has a great part in the movie. (love the expressions on Darcy's face!)

O how i miss this show!!! I was a teenager when it came out... and i LOVED it! It was right up there with (if not ABOVE!) Tiny Toons and Animaniacs.... I was

(and still am) soooo sad when it was canceled. It's been so long (and i don't have CartoonNetwork) so i don't remember but little snipits... like "poo gas" and his feet and the little intermissions and cutting to Animaniacs, etc... all the little touches that made this show so very unique... I wish there were some hope of it returning! If they ever put it on DVD i will be one of the first to buy it!! (o, i am also glad to read all the comments of those of you who also loved it... most of the people around here have no idea what i am talking about when i mention it... or they hated it! craziness)... Bring back Dexter Douglas! Bring back Freakazoid!
