Alcohol addiction is a serious subject and this movie showcases it in all its destructive glory. The drama is well shot with great little moments between the two leads. A great little indie to check out!
No hard R in this film. If you are looking for The Walking Dead, look elsewhere. This is an independent film that is more love story than flesh eating zombies. The cinematography is great and this being a low budget makes it that much more impressive. This film does its best no to be cliched and looks at what could happen when love of person is stronger than fear.
If you ever wondered what Texas high school was like, watch this show. From accents to football is life, Friday Night Lights captures what happens between classes in small Texas towns. The only thing that is missing is when the football coach looks the other way while his players use steroids. Or when the coach makes a player play even when the doctor says they should sit out. There is a reason why most college and NFL players on average are from Texas. This show also captures the way that most former high school football players live in the past. Winning football games in high school turns out to be the best thing that happens to some of these people. These people bleed their school colors and will even fight over them.
