The Hunt is an absolute blast to watch, mixing social commentary with action and dark humor. From the opening moments, the film grips you with its unpredictability and absurdity, making it impossible to look away. It's violent, over-the-top, and completely self-aware.
Betty Gilpin is phenomenal. She plays every scene with a mix of intensity, wit, and perfect comedic timing. It's hard to imagine the film working as well without her.
Whether you're here for the satirical jabs or the pulse-pounding action, The Hunt delivers pure entertainment with a side of thought-provoking fun. It's not just a movie; it's an experience.

Gutiérrez's direction in La espera is a standout, combining strong psychological tension with effective horror. The film's unique approach to folk horror is compelling, delving into themes of guilt, greed, and despair. Set in the atmospheric Andalusian countryside, Gutiérrez's ability to create suspense and evoke a chilling atmosphere is impressive. His intimate storytelling adds layers of complexity to the narrative, elevating the film beyond typical genre fare. With sharp pacing and striking visuals, La espera is a must-see for horror fans looking for something fresh, intense, and thought-provoking.
This show is hilarious. I used to watch it as a kid and I was afraid to watch it as grown up. I must say It aged great. I guess when you do something right, it does not matter how many years go by.
All main characters are fantastic. Laura San Giacomo plays a feminist at heart that wants to change his father's sexist "girls magazine".
Unfortunately she finds resistance from Wendie Malick as Nina and David Spade as Finch (who are super funny and malicious).
I also just realized now that the creator is Steven Levitan, who also wrote Modern Family, which is also a great show.
So happy to have rediscovered this TV comedy gem!
