Tells nothing about the subject. Just highlights of the painters most afrorementioned behaviours.

I don't know if the words spoken by the painter are vincent van gogh's actual own words, if not they are very pretentious. I mean the words about "existing in wrong time period" if those are not his actual words which can be found out of letters or some where else, they are very superficial.

As one review points out, just go to the museum. this film is useless as a biopic or gives nothing about those spectacular paintings.

Looking for something like Kill List, Wicker Man or The VVitch, i came across to this and most of the comments are promising so i watched it:

Pros Some of the scenes which shows landscapes or houses behind the trees are pretty good. Also in one scene, which started to showing waves and while waves crushing to the beach they transforms to fire, and through that the scene changes. Pretty good.

Cons They may be famous british actors but acting quality is like an amateur stage play. No tension, no mystery. Besides of posing, no nothing. High pitch women scream.

I got bored while watching this, as i said only a few scene crossing shots are great, besides this one dimensional, unexiciting movie.
