Great love for this movie and I must admit, a 1hr and 40mins into the film if you don't feel the tension, love and adoration for the performance Ed Harris gives, you my friend are dead.
This is truly a Cameron Gem. I like that it's touching on an alien species but not in a blockbuster extravaganza sense. The approach is smooth, the look and feel just blends well.
I can only wish to ever reach this height in filmmaking and again I applaud this work. It's a film I can watch and get a feeling as though I am seeing it for the very first time.
Watch it, enjoy it and if you have the time, come here and review it!

I'll start with - I LOVED THE ENDING, now you go watch if for yourself and let's see if you walk away satisfied.
An awesome way to spend $5,000,000.00 .. an eerie sci fi take on the dangers of Ai if mingled with humans. I don't like giving spoilers so I actually won't.
BUT..
The beginning made me care for lead so naturally as the film developed I had empathy for him.
The locations were great, was greatly impressed with the camera movements and the way the story unfolded. Nothing seemed lazy or unnecessary.
The movie became just as it says .. UPGRADE and once you break its all downhill from there.

22:25 - 25:05 - GREATNESS
This is the greatest part of the movie for me. It captured the essence of MJ and who he was, in that he KNEW he was ready to show the world that HE IS.
Matt and Ben, love those two, I'd watch them if the entire film took place in a closet.
Voila is always superb.
Chris Tucker is just a feel good moment all the time.
Jason is as wonderfully sarcastic as they come!
All in all, this was filmmaking, took us back to the 80's in perfect fashion, with minimalistic locations and great production aspects.
I truly aspire to reach this height in my craft, and yes I've watched this many times over!
