What can I say?
I had this film on my watchlist for years and had never had a chance to see it. I admit that I was mainly attracted by its beautiful cover image.
Seeing it today, in 2024, more than 30 years after its release, I was very impressed and pleased. Awarded on its release, it succeeds in vividly depicting the geographical and historical setting, while interestingly developing the various characters and their interactions. The comic note that characterises us Italians makes it a timeless little masterpiece, which I would recommend. Cast defined by a few famous actors, but real stars!
8.5/10.

I generally always limit myself to voting, without spending too much time on reviews and so on. Nevertheless, it may be somewhat due to my strong Italian patriotic feeling, but I have to say two words about this work
I would start by saying that the title, at first glance, is misleading. I admit that I started the viewing without too many expectations, perhaps even finding myself in front of an erotic comedy. What can I say? I was 200% wrong. Rather, I found myself watching a very dramatic, profound series, highlighting the family dramas of the porn star who literally changed the porn world, bringing, in his own way, Italy to the top. Certainly, Alessandro Borghi plays his part and does it really well. I am only sorry that the whole thing ended in 2004, when well, I would have liked it to have come to the present day.
8.5 well deserved.

'Il Giovane Berlusconi' is one of those short documentaries (3 episodes of 50 min, max 1h) that nevertheless manages in its brevity to encapsulate the greatness of a man who, like it or not, shaped Italy from the 1970s until 2023 and, even now, post mortem, influences Italian politics.
Certainly as a political enthusiast and, being Italian, I appreciated this multimedia product that tries to make us understand different facets, even interviewing his great adversaries and I would even say critics.
I am sorry that so few people voted for it here on IMDb and, despite the fact that I am someone who never reviews anything (except with a mere vote), I thought my small written contribution was necessary to do justice to a valuable documentary.
