a previous reviewer said the music and plot was good but gave the movie 5 stars.
To top it off they added nothing of substance to explain the failing 5 star review.
They even recommended the movie to everyone.
The reviewer has not seen the entire movie as the entire Film has not been seen by the public.
My review: great update to the original. When you start the app You are greeted by an awesome openings I sequence that reminds Me of a cross between tales from the crypt and the outer limits. As of this review I have seen 16 Chapters and what I've seen far surpasses the first Haunting Melissa.
Dark Hearts: The Secret of Haunting Melissa boasts over three hours of movie in 25 chapters. The first seven chapters are free and consist of short sneak peeks of a great sequel that boasts an apparent greater amount of love (and budget).

Considering my son specifically picks this movie over the first tells me it's a great film. There's a good chance that he's used to the voice of the man in the yellow hat as he's the voice actor from the TV show. He also loves trains so that could be other reason. For me the animation is very good and while I found the character voiced by Jamie Kennedy to be off putting I still dug the movie. The soundtrack is pretty good for a direct to video movie. I don't think I would've seen this in the theater but it was a great deal for $10. Based on the fact that the rest of the Curious George videos released have been TV show episode collections ... I have a hunch that there won't be another movie released for some time to come.
Had the movie not remind me during the actual movie that it was based on true events I'd say there was no way anyone old be as stupid as this movie made most of the characters out to be. The casting for the movie was great. ... Right down to the casting of "The Rock". I don't have any intention of buying this one Blu-ray/DVD but it was a decent flick. It does lure me to buy a book on the events to see how we'll the events were translated into this crazy flick. At times the movie was like a bad acid trip (not that I've ever had one). I kept on saying that there was no way this movie is totally based on fact ... Then it reminded me that it was. Short of the main character played by "MarKy Mark" the cast seemed to have some physical resemblance to their counterparts in real life. Halfway decent flick overall.
