. I expected more than just idiotic and completely unrealistic characters. The advertising for electronic cigarettes was ridiculous. Anyone with a minimum of education and common sense knows that it is harmful to health. The script is empty and the dialogues are childish. An elderly poet who has never seen a non-alcoholic beer is bizarre. It would be a good chance to understand the daily life of a rich and diverse culture, but that didn't happen. The interview that the boy does with the poet is embarrassing, it shows exactly how shallow and childish the script is. The film is an idiotic experience.

I am a high school teacher, and this movie made me reflect on the educator's place in school. The film takes me to Plato's Republic, where it presents the dilemma "it is better to be than to appear virtuous." The protagonist leads us to moments of anguish with her quest for justice, honesty, and virtue in an environment governed by conflicting and often cruel moral issues. Actress Leonie Benesch's performance is confident, brilliantly conveying the emotions experienced by the character. For now, I consider "Das Lehrerzimmer" a real contender to win the award for Best Foreign Film in 2024; it's my choice.

The bad grade is for the accomplishment. Direction, editing, art, stage direction and audio do not follow the argument that well done would deliver an excellent film. YOUR GEORGE delivers his worst work with a childish character, visibly carelessly directed. The resistance environments have the freshness of samba schools at Carnival time and are not tense at any time.
