It's a tired old tale. Man makes machine. Machine starts out working exactly as man intended. Something unexpected happens and machine becomes evil and kills man. Got even a modicum of originality?
When, in the history of ever, has technology become so evil that it actively seeks to kill humans? Sure, there are bugs and vulnerabilities. Sure, there are hackers that compromise systems. That said, has anyone ever made a machine evil? I'm not saying that it's not possible, but systems are getting more secure daily. Nobody has ever hacked my Tesla, which receives over the air updates regularly. It has only become smarter and smarter from month to month. That's a machine that could kill humans by the thousands. So if our current machines haven't been compromised, and our collective ability to code is getting better every day, then WHY are people so incredibly afraid of technology?! My Tesla can drive me from my house to my daughter's house 300 miles away, and I only touch the steering wheel occasionally. It's a smart machine, and over the course of a decade or more, it has never been compromised. How long do you have to live with solid technology before you'll begin to trust it?
In summary, a Megan Fox looking robot is not going to suddenly become jealous of your wife and try to kill her and your children.

I have seen many legal dramas over the years. Suits was a really good one. Goliath, however, felt so much more based in reality. The protagonist, Billy McBride, invoked deep sadness from the audience. To their credit, they never flashed back to the events that caused him to be so depressed. They mentioned it a couple of times, and I love it when writers don't treat the audience like idiots. All of Billy's opposition kept talking about how tenacious and relentless he was. That's a perfect description. Patty made me laugh every episode, but I could actually feel the deep dark hurt that Billy was experiencing all day every day. Amazing cast. Amazing characters. Realizing that I am in the minority here, I didn't appreciate the extensive foul language, though I know that is based in reality as well. I will always consider this show to be one of the best, if not the best legal drama I have ever seen.
