Like another review said it's basically scene to scene no real plot direction. Basically this dudes trying to score some on a night on the town after leaving his wife after the opening scene of his card reading. It's a little interesting to see what happens and that's about it. It has the actors, but the movie sucks, and the ending had me laughing. It just throws you into it, has no real setup except for what I said above and that's about it. Except for the ending which I won't spoil if you decide to watch it. But as I said it's laughable. I guess it's suppose make you feel empathy for people in his mind, but.... I don't know wtf happened so...
Repetitive, and doesn't really go anywhere. Hardly any comedy so I wouldn't even label it a black comedy. More horror with the very few comedy thrown in. Horror, psychological thriller with last 1/4 comedy. Bamba music or whatever from the 1940, and Randy Quaid make it the most comedy. Shouldn't have played as much into the thriller stuff, and played more into comedy. Played more into the theme of the time its set in. Finally what else is there to say. Scenes repeat from house to school to house to school. I would only say watch if your into really weird mystery thriller about a kids being terrorized? I don't know. I was wanting more comedy. Guess from always seeing Randy Quaid in comedy movies, but only thing I got from this film was seeing him in such a role. Other than that time wasted. Compelled to post review for that reason.
Been wanting to start writing reviews. Not a slasher movie. More them trying to fix their mistake. Poor August. The first few minutes I was being critical to, and It doesn't take long to take off. It is entertaining, and keeps you watching. I'm sure this will be a cult classic one day. Tubis actually got a nice original. No I'm not a family member, or staff cousin. If there's a "little secret" behind the credits Tubi won't pop up a new movie. I know I just said I'm not a family member, but I wouldn't mind watching more of these lol. Got all here. Laughs, creeps, cool characters. 34 yo was a indie fan back in the day. Well I thought that was max character limits.... I personally thought it was great.
