When you watch a show like this, you do it for one reason only: the dances. You want to see these women move, give it their all, entertain, drive you crazy and do it on a groovy tune. Sadly, there isn't enough of that in the show. You see their struggles, you see glimpses of their costumes and dances, but you never hear the music played in the club, you never see a full dance. I get why: go down to the club if you want to see it. But sadly I live in Europe and it's not like I got a private jet in the backyard to fly to Hollywood or Vegas. The show's got a great vibe and soundtrack, but the editing is too fast for me. You never see any long shots and this makes it hard to get into the story. Yes, it has a great soundtrack, yes it's a great story to follow but no, you don't get what you're expecting. It feels more like an appetizer instead of the promised meal.
