I love the CSI series, but CSI:NY is my definite favorite. There's much more character development than in the other series. You can actually follow the characters one by one, and get to know them. It's in many ways more human. For example, in CSI:Miami, Horatio Caine is presented as an almost clairvoyant person: He walks into a crime scene, and just by looking at some blood traces, he can say: "No, I don't think our victim went over here to call the police - he was going to warn his son who he thought was asleep. But his soon was at a party in town." CSI:NY is much more down to ground. Not to mention, it's much more bright and colorful. Compared to L.V., where even the labs and offices are like dark tunnels, the settings and locations in N.Y. is much brighter. For me, this makes the program easier to watch.
I'm so glad we have a TV channel who broadcast CSI:NY here in Norway, because this series is just brilliant!

I play the piano myself, and I can tell you; Chopin's music is fantastic to play and listen to. Some of his greatest works can be heard in this movie, for example Piano Concerto Nr. 2 and Etude Nr. 12 Op. 10. This is a good film for those who wish to learn more about Chopin's life and music, and how he was as a person. In my opinion, the greatest moment in the film is when Chopin composes his Mazurka in D major, Op. 33. He hear his worker Jan play something on the violin, and from that he composes this Mazurka. (By the way: Those of you who play the piano; check out this mazurka - Op. 33 no. 3. It's a brilliant example of how Chopin could take folk music and turn it to the finest piece of art.)
As I said: I great film, even for those who may not like Chopin or classical music, but enjoy a good film with good characters.

A lot of people have told me that "The Green Mile" is a fantastic film, and that I should see it. So I did. Usually, I like all movie's where Tom Hanks is a part of the cast, since he's such a brilliant actor, and no matter how bad a script or plot is, he's making the film good just by being on the screen.
I'm not going to tell you about how the film ends, and what made me give it a 3 out of 10, but for those of you who have seen it, I can tell that it was the ending of the film that made me turn it off, before it was even finished. To be honest, I was very disappointed. Still, there's always something good to say about o movie, no matter how bad it is, and in The Green Mile Tom Hanks does a very good job, and the other guards in the prison are pretty good too. Also, Michael Clarke Duncan as John Coffey and Thomas Newman's music saves the honor of the film, because in my opinion, this film is really bad.
