  • Euthanasia for your brain

Writing at the start, due to climate and disease interest in dinosaurs has waned. Thanks, I came to watch a jurrasic park movie not be reminded of the sh*thole world we live in.

All previous characters removed so great opportunity to bring in new characters. First guy we meet, pharmaceutical industry guy, he wants to cure heart disease by getting dinosaur samples, from the three biggest dinosaurs, why because they have the biggest heart muscles... follow the science.

Mission, go to the no go zone where dinosaurs roaming freely near the equator because I quote "That's the most oxygenated area" who is going on the mission, pharmaceutical guy (literally in his office shirt and chinos for the whole movie) scarlet bad#ss girl boss, a museum guy who wears glasses, and a smuggler, that's the team.. shall we take weapons... a needle gun with parachutes and one other gun... OK.

Random family are out on a boat where dinosaurs roam freely... teenage Latino boy is a weed smoking, lazy disrespectful guy but girl falls for him cos he has a hero inside... great lesson for all teenage girls, put up with douchebags because inside they are great. Family nearly dies due to the dinosaurs, calls for help, scarlet and crew decide they must save them only to then take them on their secret illegal suicide mission.

All dinosaurs have been replaced with genetically modified ones, long necks are now ringtailed black and white lemurs, raptors have been replaced with turkey neck dinosaurs for those Christmas vibes and the t rex is now a D rex... yes the end boss is a D rex... what's more frustrating than this POS movie is that people actually get this sh*t, they swallow it whole and post positive or mid reviews, the writers, producers, cast and crew are laughing all the way to the bank.

  • Masterclass in action filmaking

There really is nothing to gripe about here, with all the garbage coming out we have to support great movie making when the opportunity arises.

I was expecting a low key, low budget spin off and what I got was the scale of John Wick 5, the action is absolutely relentless and so well made, conceived and filmed. The stunts with taking knocks and falls and with fire is just on another level, the locations are stunning, do yourself a favour, take the opportunity to watch this on the big screen!

If you are a fan of John Wick, action, martial arts movies, you're gonna love it! Fights are brutal including hammers, knives, guns, ice skates, picks, grenades and flame throwers. Yes it might be over the top at times but you have to appreciate the time and effort that goes into putting such a spectacle on screen, especially when compared with the lack of effort and creativity in everything else coming out nowadays.

  • Fire the editor and camera man

Why in 2025 are we still seeing this poorly shot, poorly edited nonsense. If you don't know how to film a fight scene don't make a martial arts action movie. The camera was either to close up to see what anyone is doing or the shots are so heavily edited that most kicks start half way through. Don't cast jackie chan if you won't even show what he's doing. And why dear God was so much cgi used of people spinning around, every other fight or training scene featured cgi spinning, I haven't seen that much cgi spinning since yoda fighting count duku.

Story and characters were not a total loss, jackie chan had more personality in this one than the last, great to see Ralph and even Johnny make a small appearance. But please dear God use a crew who can film and edit a fight scene next time.
