An excellent production by Julio Ponce Palmieri shot entirely with a Canon 7D - Editing and effects are superb with a great storyline on the adaptation of Machiavelli. All of the actors in this production are up and coming yet seasoned actors with numerous other profile credits to their resumes. It is the story of a gangland boss who, after his death guides his son through the myriad of rival gangland leaders attempts to take over his empire. Some fine acting and effects in this short which I'm sure will do well in the festivals circuit. This director (Julio Ponce Palmieri) is a Guatemalan native now based in Ontario, and has a number of other credits to his name such as The Hubris of Sisyphus, The Friend which was an international competition entry, finishing seventh in the voting.
